When Lazarus died, Jesus did not immediately come to be with His friend’s family. In fact, He arrived four days after Lazarus had died! In this passage we see Jesus as man feeling grief and weeping, but we also see Jesus as God speaking to and raising Lazarus from the dead. As perfect man and perfect God, Christ is enough.
