A favorite preacher for many, Dr. Johnny Pope is in constant demand for churches and conferences from coast to coast. Although he preaches in many pulpits, his life's call has been to remain the pastor of Christchurch Baptist Fellowship of Houston, TX. Dr. Pope has faithfully pastored for over 40 years and preached the Word of God for nearly 55 years.

His ministry is not only characterized by faithfulness and integrity but also defined by a vibrant prayer life and a reputation for rightly dividing the Word of Truth. His compassion for the lost, and his warm friendship to the Body of Christ are hallmarks of his calling. His Spirit-filled preaching has helped thousands around the world. It is full of Scriptural substance that makes you think and stirs your heart.

Dr. and Mrs. Pope have been married since 1973, and have four children and fourteen grandchildren. 

Enjoying the Journey has many friends in the ministry who help and encourage us along the way. Few have been more encouraging and equipping than Pastor Johnny Pope.
