Roger Pauley served the Lord in his local church as a businessman for many years. At thirty-two, God called him into the ministry and he began pastoring bi-vocationally. For thirty-three years he faithfully shepherded the Cranberry Baptist Church of Beckley, West Virginia. The church has grown in its reach, seeing many come to Christ and supporting missions work around the world. Pastor Pauley also served as a local hospital chaplain and has had a fruitful ministry throughout southern West Virginia. 

In 2023, Roger retired from the full time pastorate and led the church as they transitioned to a new pastor. The Pauley’s remain active in the church but spend much of their time ministering to other pastors and their wives, preaching in local churches, and conducting marriage seminars and family conferences. Marcia also speaks frequently in ladies gatherings.

Roger and his wife, Marcia, have been married for fifty years, and have two children who are both in the Lord’s work. The Pauley’s enjoy serving the Lord together, spending time on the family farm, traveling, and being with their six grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
