First Steps -- Beginning Your Journey with jesus

The moment that someone trusts Christ to be their Savior, they are given eternal life. Jesus said in John 17:3, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” To know God through His Son is to have eternal life. Eternal life is our present possession and it assures us of our eternal home.

 

If you have trusted Christ as your Savior, you are a part of the family of God. However, though your final destination is settled, you have just begun a lifelong journey with Jesus, and God has so much more for you. The journey of life is made one step at a time. If you desire to move forward in your faith then you must begin where you are! Determine to take the next step with God today.
