At Enjoying the Journey, we are truly thankful for the rich heritage of Bible teaching and preaching that has been passed down to us. Christians must believe, apply, and minister the Word of God in the present day, but that is best done with an appreciation for those who stood for truth in previous generations. God’s people have been handed a rich heritage that must not be forgotten.

Isaiah 54:17 speaks of “the heritage of the servants of the LORD.” “For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name” (Psalm 61:5). “Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart” (Psalm 119:111). We are just another link in a long line of faithful servants, and we have been given a wonderful heritage.

With gratitude for centuries of faithful preaching, we are excited to present the ETJ Legacy Archives. Periodically on the Weekend Pulpit, in addition to recent messages and guest preachers, we air classic sermons from previous generations. Many of these messages are converted from reel to reel and have never been heard by our audience.

On this page you will find a library of these audio recordings, along with legacy reprint books and articles, Hymn Histories, and Christians You Should Know. It is our prayer that God will use the eternal truth, given at another time, to help our generation continue in the timeless heritage of Bible preaching.

A legacy is not just something to remember; it is something that continues to make a lasting impact. May God use these legacy messages to make a lasting impact for eternity.
