Michael Pack

Michael was raised in a small town in West Virginia by loving parents. His mother brought him to church from an early age, and at the age of eleven, he made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as His personal savior.

While attending WVU Tech for a Computer Science degree, God used a college ministry, Campus Light, to bring to his attention a need to understand more about God’s Word. Michael knew what he believed, but he realized that he didn’t know why he believed it, and he had a desire to learn more about God and the Bible. Upon graduation, Michael moved to Woodbridge, VA to work as a software engineer, and while there, he attended Heritage Baptist Church and had the opportunity to enroll in the Heritage Institute of Ministry where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology.

Michael worked in the field of software engineering for almost thirty years, but he began to feel God’s call on his life in a clear way. After much prayer, he left his job to commit his time and talents to the Lord’s service. He has a desire to reach the lost and help believers grow in their knowledge of God and His Word.

Michael currently lives in Beaver, WV and attends Cranberry Baptist Church. He spends the winter in Orlando, FL and enjoys the warm weather while he is there. He enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time with family.

  • The Creation of the Universe

We take so many of the aspects of our existence for granted. The sun rises every morning. The rain and snow fall in their seasons. Plants, animals, and humans are born, mature, and die. The moon revolves around Earth, and Earth revolves around the Sun. We rarely take time to consider how everything got here,…

  • The Existence of God

    By Michael Pack | January 27, 2026 |

One of the fundamental truths that mankind has struggled to grasp is the existence of God. A 2023 Ipsos poll of 26 countries revealed that 21% ‘believe in neither God nor any higher spirit.’ In the United States of America, between 4% and 5% of the population self-identify as an atheist, one who does not…

On a recent vacation to Japan, I visited Kobe, the capital city of Hyogo Prefecture. This area is perhaps most famous for Kobe beef, a delicacy produced under strict conditions and valued for its flavor. There was much to see (and eat) in this city, and one area I explored was the Kitano-cho area of…

  • The Reality of the Resurrection

    By Michael Pack | November 4, 2025 |

The reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the foundational tenets of the Christian faith. Paul lays it out clearly in 1 Corinthians 15. It is as if he is setting a challenge to those who doubt the reality of Christ’s resurrection.  “Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the…

Our beliefs are under constant attack by the world and the forces of darkness. Many view the Bible as an outdated book or as a fairy tale that holds no relevance in our modern age. As we have previously examined, we can trust in the reliability of the Bible. God’s Word does not need our…

  • The Reliability of God’s Word

    By Michael Pack | October 1, 2025 |

In a world where it is difficult to know what to trust or who to trust, it is a comfort to know that we can absolutely trust in the reliability of God’s Word. Many have criticized this holy book over the years, but their criticisms have been defeated every time. The truths of the Bible,…

  • Be Ready

Most people have heard the motto of the Boy Scouts: “Be Prepared.” This motto, developed by Scouting founder Robert Baden-Powell, is described in the Boy Scout Handbook as having the idea that, “Scouts should prepare themselves to become productive citizens and strong leaders and to bring joy to other people. [Baden-Powell] wanted each Scout to…
