An Hour of Prayer and Fasting

An Hour Of Prayer

These are days of great spiritual need in our nation. Only revival can bring lasting change and only God can bring revival. It is prayer time in America.

The Lord Jesus said of the power that brings spiritual breakthrough, “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Desperate times call for desperate prayers!

Our country needs more than a political election – it needs a spiritual awakening! A great group of us joined together one hour of prayer this past Tuesday.  You can watch and pray for our nation with the archived prayer meeting HERE.
We were honored to partner with so many across the country for this emphasis. As we prepare our hearts for this concentrated season of prayer, you may want to read my little book on The Need of Our Nation at enjoyingthejourney.org/topics/need-of-our-nation. God’s people must participate in the process, but above all – we must pray!
Our ETJ team has also compiled 21 Bible Prayers For Government Leaders. This tool will help you to pray specific and Scriptural prayers for those in authority at this time. Download the free PDF HERE.
Your friend in Christ,

An hour of prayer, prayer for America.

Pray for the Grieving

Sunday evening and midweek meetings of the local church have fallen on hard times. In many places, they are comprised of a few people scattered in a mostly empty auditorium or huddled together in a small room. Dwindling congregations in the midst of an ever exploding world population. Where is everyone?

What Happened to Evening Church Meetings?
