An Idea for Your Christmas Cards Scott Pauley

Have you sent out your Christmas cards yet? Through the years it has become increasingly difficult to send cards to everyone that we love and want to greet. For the last several years we have simply given cards to family and send greetings by media and email to many others. However you may send your Christmas greetings I would like to give you an idea for those that you receive.

Tammy and I always enjoy looking through the Christmas cards and family pictures that come in the mail each year. (Let’s be honest, with all of the technology, we still enjoy getting actual mail in the mailbox!) Perhaps you display them for a few days, but what do you do with your Christmas cards at the end of the season?

Here’s a suggestion: Take your cards and use them as prayer prompters for the coming months. Perhaps you could adopt a different family or individual each week for prayer and encouragement. In this way the cards continue to serve a spiritual purpose both for you and for the friends and family who sent them to you.

Christmas greetings are always a blessing, but our prayers for those we love will bring blessing all year. Let your Christmas cards outlast the holiday season!

Great idea for recycling Christmas cards!
My pastor husband and I are native Michiganders! Our God called him home five years ago. I first heard you on WBLW 88.1. Love your program. Now moved to Sunrise,Fl. to be near 2 of my daughters ( Sarah Alley and Beverly Hunter ).
