An Update On Our Israel Tour Scott Pauley

Tammy and I have been looking forward to traveling through Israel and studying God’s Word with a group of friends. As you may know, this trip was originally planned for last year and was postponed due to the pandemic shut down. It was our hope that by the end of this year international travel would be back to normal.

In recent days Israel has had an upsurge in Covid cases and has now reinstituted a number of restrictions that would keep the trip from being possible. Because of this we have made the decision to postpone the trip to 2022.

Here is what you need to know:

  • We will now depart out of New York on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 and will return on Friday, December 9, 2022.
  • If you have already registered for the trip and paid your deposit your place is secure for the trip.
  • The cost of the trip will increase $100 to $3,498 per person due to airfare increase. This price includes airfare, private coach transportation, superior hotels, breakfast and dinner daily, sightseeing, and all taxes.
  • Our tour will include the same stops but some adjustment in the order has been made. For example, we will now be having our Sunday service in Bethlehem!
  • There are a handful of open seats available. If you would like to join us or have any questions you may contact Mrs. Jennie Butler at jbutler_66@yahoo.com or 843-345-4441.

This will be the trip of a lifetime and it is an honor to have many of you making it with our family. Please mark your calendar with the new dates as we prepare for our 10 day tour of the land of the Bible!

Pray for the Grieving

Sunday evening and midweek meetings of the local church have fallen on hard times. In many places, they are comprised of a few people scattered in a mostly empty auditorium or huddled together in a small room. Dwindling congregations in the midst of an ever exploding world population. Where is everyone?

What Happened to Evening Church Meetings?

The remains of the Roman amphitheater in Durres, Albania. By tradition, Paul preached here in the city of Durres when he came to Illyricum. We know from Acts that Paul liked to go where the crowds were so he could conceivably have preached right here. Photo by John Buckner
