We Remember. Scott Pauley

Can you believe it has been 20 years? I remember where I was standing on 9/11 when someone said, “A commercial airliner just crashed into the World Trade Center in New York!” It was just the beginning of a terrible, national nightmare. The days that followed brought some spiritual awakening across our land…

But that was 20 years ago.

9/11 has simply become history, another reference point in the story of our country. The churches filled with praying people, the Capitol filled with elected officials singing hymns, the airwaves filled with people talking about things that truly matter have all become a memory.

An entire nation vowed that we would never forget – but many have. We are grateful for the protection that God has given us these last two decades, but how we need fresh reminders of the grace of God on our country!

This week, as we memorialize the 20th anniversary of that fateful day, we are conducting a God Bless America Rally in southern West Virginia. All meetings are being held at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center in Beckley, WV. 40 churches have sponsored the gathering and thousands have been invited. We need the Lord to touch this effort as only He can.

Would you help us?

  • Pray! Over the last two years many prayer meetings have been conducted. Now is the time for intensified intercession! Many pastors and believers are fasting and praying for an awakening among God’s people and the salvation of souls. This is something we all can do, wherever we are. Pray for protection, for spiritual power, for lasting fruit. Ask the Lord to give real victory and get glory to Himself through the labor.
  • Come! On Thursday night at 7 pm we will have a special prayer meeting with all of the participating churches. Friday-Sunday evenings the gospel meetings begin at 7 pm nightly. On Friday and Saturday mornings there are special meetings at 10 am. All meetings are open to the public and we would be thrilled to have you if you are within driving distance.
  • Bring people with you! The goal of the meeting is to pray for our nation and share the good news of Christ with as many as possible. Please consider bringing someone to the gospel meetings. Each night we will share a message of hope through Jesus Christ.
  • Give. If you would like to support this gospel effort you may make a tax-deductible donation securely online at GodBlessAmericaRally.com. We are grateful for those who are investing in this eternal work.
  • Share the online feed. It is wonderful that we can use the technology available to live stream the evening meetings through GodBlessAmericaRally.com and the God Bless America Rally Facebook page. If you cannot come in person, would you consider watching and sharing it with your friends through social media? We believe God can multiply the message around the world through this means.

Yes, we remember what happened on 9/11, and we also recognize the spiritual conflict that is raging in our nation at this time. Please join us in praying for many to turn to Christ in these crisis days.

Pray for the Grieving

Sunday evening and midweek meetings of the local church have fallen on hard times. In many places, they are comprised of a few people scattered in a mostly empty auditorium or huddled together in a small room. Dwindling congregations in the midst of an ever exploding world population. Where is everyone?

What Happened to Evening Church Meetings?
