“Journey Through Scripture” One-Year Plans Scott Pauley

Journey Through Scripture Bible Reading Plan, One year Bible reading plan

Just this week as I was reading God’s Word I noticed a reference that Jesus made to the reading of Scripture. In Luke 6:3, Christ spoke to religious people when He said, “Have ye not read so much as this…? Those who knew so much about God had failed to read some of the most basic portions of His Word!

If they had read it, they had forgotten it. Or misunderstood it. Or failed to obey it. The point is: they needed to read it again!

And so do we.

On our “Enjoying the Journey” podcast I dealt with simple principles that will help us return to daily Bible reading. I do hope you will listen to these five episodes.

We also have a new study through the Old and New Testaments. As we “Journey Through Scripture we will discover daily direction from every one of the books of the Bible. It is my prayer that you will make this journey with us. It is a ten-minute visit in every book of the Bible.

As an aid in this journey, I would like to provide you with a free “Journey Through Scripture” Bible reading schedule. It is designed to help you read through the Bible in 365 daily readings.

There are a host of Bible reading plans available. I am not offering a new one…only a fresh one. The secret to Bible reading is not a better plan. Rather, it is a continued recommitment to do it! A fresh start.

I have just been introduced to your ministry by some close friends of mine, Charles and Brittany Hatcher, Charles is my pastor, the senior pastor of Neuse Baptist Church here in Raleigh, NC. And I know that anything they recommend will definitely be of sound doctrine. I am excited about all the resources you have available for both believers and unbelievers. It is always my desire to seek the Lord and learn more about him even after 43 years of salvation. We never stop growing. I will be praying for your ministry as you work to evangelize and reach others for Christ and encourage those who believe to grow.
