Update on the Rest Conference Scott Pauley

Many of you have asked in recent days about this year’s Rest Conference. Pastor Scott Hooks and I, along with our wives, love hosting this meeting each September. It is a refreshing time in God’s Word and with many of God’s servants.

Due to the unusual situation this year with COVID-19 restrictions we have decided to make some adjustments to the schedule. We will not be gathering in Hickory, NC as normal. Please note the following:

  • We will be hosting an online conversation on Tuesday, September 8 for pastors, evangelists, and Christian workers. This will be an encouraging few minutes and I hope you will make plans to join us. More details will be sent out soon about how you can be a part.
  • The next Rest Conference will be held Monday-Wednesday, September 6-8, 2021. Please mark your calendar now and make plans to join us.
  • Subscribe to the new Rest podcast to hear helpful sessions from previous Rest Conferences. These messages are being made available free of charge with the prayer that God will use them to encourage many men and women in the Lord’s work.

If you are looking for a conference to attend this fall, we would like to encourage you to attend the Southwide Baptist Fellowship, October 12-14. This year’s Southwide is being held at the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC and is going to be a very special gathering with an emphasis on prayer.

May God bless each of you as you continue in the work He has called you to do. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).
