The passion of my life is to get the good news of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. Time is flying and eternity is coming. We must do what we can while we can!

Who are you taking to heaven with you?

Some time ago I gave a message from the oldest Psalm in the Bible, Moses prayer in Psalm 90. The Lord saw fit to use it to bring souls to Christ and He led me to make it available in a way that could be passed along to others. That message, The Days Of Our Years, is now produced in cd format. I recorded a conversational introduction and very specific gospel appeal at the end of the sermon.

It has been beautifully produced so that this gospel tool can be used much like a gospel tract. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Listen to the message yourself first.
  • Pray specifically that God would use the message in the life of someone that you desire to reach for Christ.
  • Give it to them and ask them to listen to it and let you know what they think.
  • Follow up soon to have a conversation about Christ.

It is our prayer that many people will come to the Lord as they hear God’s Word. At the very least it is a fresh way to open up a conversation about spiritual matters. Perhaps you have said all that you know to say and given them every tract you have. They may be more open to listening to a brief message and we know that “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

The cd is available through Faithworks Media here. If you are interested in obtaining large quantities they would be very happy to work with you on a special rate. We would love to hear how God uses you and His Word to reach souls for Christ!

A brief gospel video is also available on our website at https://enjoyingthejourney.org/gospel/. This could be shared immediately on social media or by email with friends who need Christ.

The King Herod who built the Herodium is the same Herod who tried to kill Jesus, and ordered the slaughter of the babies in nearby Bethlehem. He knew his subjects hated him, so before he died, he provided for his tomb to be guarded after his death. After a couple of years, the money ran out so the guards went home. The vengeful locals trashed his palace and smashed his ornate mausoleum to tiny pieces.

The altar of sacrifice in front of the holy of holies in Arad. Even though it is a smaller imitation, the temple here gives the visitor an idea of how the Temple in Jerusalem appeared.
