We are very happy to announce that at the end of this month the Fundamental Broadcasting Network will begin to carry our Enjoying The Journey daily broadcast. FBN began in 1988 through the faithful ministry of Pastor Clyde Eborn. Their reach has continued to grow through the addition of terrestrial stations, affiliate stations, internet radio, and an instant audio phone line. They now have known listeners in nations around the world.

It is a joy to partner with them for the advancement of the gospel and the teaching of God’s Word. I deeply appreciate their interest in our program and hope that you will support their work. You may find more information on their ministry along with a list of stations at fbnradio.com.

At this time we believe that Enjoying The Journey will be aired on FBN at 1:05 each afternoon, immediately after the news. This ten minute Bible study will be heard Monday-Friday, beginning on Monday, July 29th. I hope you will listen and help us share the program with others.

Remember that you can listen to all of our archived programs, find a list of radio options, or subscribe to the podcast at enjoyingthejourney.org/broadcast. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Within the text, John opens and closes his thoughts with the idea of "believeth." Sandwiched between are details concerning being "born of God"; conversion, compassion, conduct, and conquest. These details give clarity to three aspects of the Christian life: faith, love, and obedience. When present, they testify to the validity that one has been "born of God."

The word for wilderness is “meedbar,” (מדבר). This word is spelled exactly the same in the Hebrew text as “he speaks, or I speak.” He speaks/I speak is written the same (מדבר) but pronounced differently “meh-dah-ber.” Ancient readers of the Hebrew Bible saw these words and linked them in their minds. Therefore, the wilderness must be the place where He speaks to you. The spectacular cliffs of Sede Boger in the south of Israel near Beersheba. It has been identified by some scholars with the Wilderness of Zin, which is mentioned in several places in Numbers and Deuteronomy. It is a popular destination for modern hikers and climbers.
