The month of August has been a month of transition as our oldest daughter, Morgan, has begun college and Lauren and Grant have returned to school. God has graciously allowed me to spend a little extra time at home and with our family during these days. Now we are about to begin a very busy fall season.

We publish our schedule month by month along with periodic updates on meetings because of so many people who have expressed interest in praying with us. The purpose of our itinerary is not just for information – it is for intercession! Would you take this month’s schedule of meetings and add it to your prayer list?

“Gideon, A Study in Contrasts” by Dr. Charles Keen

Everybody Loves a Good Story!

Wildflowers in biblical Moab. When she came back to Bethlehem, Naomi used some Hebrew wordplay. She said that “the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.” (1:20) The Hebrew word she used for Almighty, שַׁדַּי is very close to the word used in verse 1:1 for “the country,” שְׂדֵי. In this way, the reader understands the true origin of Naomi’s bitter dealings: the country of Moab.
