Messages from Southwide Scott Pauley

One week ago we concluded the 2021 Southwide Baptist Fellowship. The Holy Spirit guided us through the meeting and every message from God’s Word was used to minister to us. I have heard from so many people who were helped through our time together. It was, in every sense of the word, a real fellowship around the Word of God.

We give God glory for all that He is doing to strengthen His servants in these days. I am personally grateful for the team of people who worked so diligently for every part of the meeting and for the men who faithfully preached the truth to us. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)

Many of you who could not be present were diligent to pray for us. We appreciate it more than words could express and want you to know that God answered your prayers. The messages have been available on my Facebook page and on the Beacon Baptist site. Beginning this week we are posting all of the full length services to the Southwide Baptist Fellowship YouTube page. Subscribe to the page and watch for a new one each week. We trust the music, testimonies, and preaching will continue to encourage God’s servants. Please share them with others.

I am personally thankful to Pastor Tim Rabon for hosting us and assisting me this year. He will be the host for next year’s gathering in Lawrenceville, GA. Please mark your calendar now for October 10-12, 2022. If the Lord comes before then we will have a much better meeting in a different location! But if Christ tarries His coming, we plan to meet at the Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Kuykendall and his gracious people.

My prayer for us all is that God will enable us to keep drawing near, holding fast, and considering one another…”and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).

Journey Through Micah

Fruitful winter

A Fruitful Winter

Mattaniah was a descendant of Asaph (1 Chronicles 9:15) and one of the many Levites who labored in the Temple worship during Nehemiah's day. National thanksgiving was deeply personal for Mattaniah.
