13134-The-Need-of-Our-Nation-CVR-a4-brochure-mockup-4_v2_247px

These are crisis days in our country. What can we do about it? In “The Need of Our Nation” we examine two Old Testament passages and two New Testament passages that help us to see what God’s people are to do in every generation. Times change. Trends change. Truth never does.

This new 50 page booklet has been prepared so that it can be given to many people. Would you help us get it out to others? It can be ordered in bulk in our store HERE.

God’s Word has the answer to the dilemmas of every age. Truth transcends all language, time, and cultural bounds. In the these brief Bible meditations the Holy Spirit speaks to the deepest needs of men and nations. There are no social, moral, economic or political solutions to a spiritual problem. The hope of a nation is in what God is able to do, and the need of a nation is for people who know how to pray.

There is hope! This booklet will be a great encouragement to those who are troubled about the condition of our nation and is a powerful reminder that the great need of our day is a spiritual awakening among God’s people.

This booklet is a great resource for:

  • Gifts for patriotic services
  • Sunday schools
  • Bible studies
  • Prayer groups

We are using it in our 9/11 memorial meeting in September. It would be perfect to give out for July 4 or for any “God and Country” emphasis. Patriotism is not the same as biblical Christianity, but I do believe that God’s people should want their nation to know the truth. If we love the Lord we should love souls.

Thank you for reading “The Need of Our Nation,” passing it along to others, and joining us in interceding for our land.

“Gideon, A Study in Contrasts” by Dr. Charles Keen

Everybody Loves a Good Story!

Wildflowers in biblical Moab. When she came back to Bethlehem, Naomi used some Hebrew wordplay. She said that “the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.” (1:20) The Hebrew word she used for Almighty, שַׁדַּי is very close to the word used in verse 1:1 for “the country,” שְׂדֵי. In this way, the reader understands the true origin of Naomi’s bitter dealings: the country of Moab.
